Hi all,
Can anyone advise what would be the easiest (cheapest preferred also) way to stream music from a Macbook pro that was say playing music in the living room so that someone could also listen to it in the kitchen or bedroom etc.?
Any pointers would be appreciated!

Do you want multiple people to hear it? If it's just for one person then wireless headphones would be the least expensive.
Here are a couple of music streaming equipment tests from The Gadget Show

Thanks UKC. What would be the best route to connect the macbook to my tv wirelessly so that in effect we could grab a wireless keyboard and mouse, surf the net, listen to itunes, photos etc.?0

The new Apple TV very nearly doeas all that you want for £99 - it will stream music/video/photos off your laptop - and you can watch Youtube and Flickr and rent movies off iTunes. But it doesn't do full internet surfing.0

I don't know what the range would be like but for music you could try connecting one of those FM transmitters designed for listening to mp3 players in the car. You'd only be able to control what's playing at the computer itself though of course.0
