Units at higher rate

I am a dual fuel user with Brit Gas on a 1 year fixed price contract. I have set up spreadsheets to monitor my bills, but am unable to calculate the number of Kwhrs charge at the higher initial rate. The units vary each quarterly bill. I was previously with Southern Elect and had the same situation there. Does anyone out there know how the initial KWHRS are calculated?:mad:

    They are worked out on a daily basis. that is the annual total of primary units divided by 365 gives you the daily amount and that is just multiplied by the number of days the bill covers.

    Alternatively their grasp of how to use a forum may on a par with their understanding of how utility tariffs are structured. :shrug;
