Seriously, old people and the people that can't afford to be conned like this are at risk here. That's a nasty way to make a living IMO. They wouldn't have a chance to work out if it was gen or not...and measuring consumtion accurately is impossible for ANYONE in any case unless you're going to time every kettle you boil for 6 months to compare the two bills ..one with and one without.

Anyone contacted Watchdog? Hmm isn't this forum on a site related to a consumer champion come to think fo it?
