Screws for a tv stand...help!!

Hi, I have just bought a new stand for my 32 inch technika tv, unfortunately it did not come with any screws and I keep hitting a brick wall when I try to get the proper screws. I dont want to be ripped off so does anyone know any god sites which supplies screws for this purpose... Thanks......

TV stands normally come with screws I have yet to find one that hasn't. Does it say in instruction how to build it? are the screws missing or maybe its not meant to have screws and slots in together?

The instructions should list the screws supplied. Even if they are missing you would be able to buy similar screws. Unless, of course, they have been specially made for that application. This, however is probably unlikely. Otherwise do as ormus suggests.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Pretty much same happened to us and it took us three trips in same evening to B&Q the other side of town to get some that fitted right!
  • Bascially it is from a shop which is closing and came as seen without fixings and instructions. It is perfect for my living room and would love to keep it but finding the screws is such a hassle!! Thanks..

We had the same problem - our tv stand came with screws but they weren't suitable for our particular TV. It also took us 3 trips to B&Q before we got the right screws. Even then, we had to fit extra washers as they were too long. I'm afraid it's just trial and error until you find ones that fit.
