  • if DS is playing at an international level then why not try and get him sponsired by a local company? I remember my mum telling me she couldnt afford horse riding lessons when I was younger so i volunteered at the stables to help out providing i got to ride. Can you son not volunteer at the club in exchange for things?

    hi

Groceries is very high for three. If your daughter and her BF buy all their own food, then you need to be looking at £200-300 per month.

You need clothing, and I guess you are buying clothes for golf as well as everyday stuff for all three of you. You need contents insurance. Do you cut all the men's hair?

If DD is a fulltime undergraduate students she gets about £5000 per year,m which is £100 per week. You will be losing some benefts so she needs to refund you for this loss of rental costs.

Well it looks loads better :) Just really need to concentrate on cutting the groceries down, if your daughter buys most of her own food then is only really for 3 of you so would say £300 would be the average to aim for (if you check the os boards some people can do for a lot less) this would free you £200 and since you are now getting some free lessons for your son would help with his other expenses. Definately still look into the sponsorship though.

he does need golf clothes but last year managed on 2 pair of h & m trousers and 2 t shirts he bought with birthday money

oh shaves his head i cut my own hair only one that has haircut is ds! although i home dye mine every 8 weeks i have counted all this in grocery bill

there is nothing much in the house worth insuring although golf club insurance could do with looking at

am awaiting a call from talktalk and will cut the option 3 thing we have and utilise free mobile minutes rather than anytime calls

am looking at reducing sky package

its difficult for ds to get a job as he puts in hours and hours of golf practice and with homework i feel he hardly has 5 mins to himself

he does help out at home ..wash up etc keep room tidy help with stuff and never asks for things

we are all rock bottom on clothes but i would rather do without to give him the chance

    Hi

Are DD and DD's BF in part-time work? Most student work 20 hours a week.

In which case does she get Disabled Students Allowance? There is up to £10,000 a year to be claimed if it is needed.
