I mistakingly used my credit card to withdraw cash rather than ny debit card. Wish the bank wouldn't make them so damn similar, theyre near enough identical ! Grrrr!!!

Anyway last few months I've cleared my balance on the credit card in full, this month was due to be cleared by 11th Oct again in full, but have since spent £500 (payable around 11th Nov when next statement issued) and now a £30 cash withdrawl. What's it going to cost me and whats the best way to mitigate against minimal interest ? My APR is 2.075% PM

Best way is to pay it all off as soon as you an. ie today.

And don't have all your PINs the same for all your cards.

Can't afford to pay £900 off today as was only expecting this month to be around £400 and next £500ish.
What will that £30 withdrawl cost me if I don't pay it til mid next month?

Depending on your card, something like a £3 fee plus around a month's interest - depends what rate your cash is at. I'll guess around 28% if your purchases are at 19.9%. So probably no more than £4 in total.

This is assuming your card still have negative payment hierarchy. If it has, it will change by 1 Jan, so if you still haven't cleared you balance by then, the £30 will go to the top of the pile and be paid off first in your Jan payment.

So not the end of the world. But don't do it again, as your card provider will think you're a dodgy no good layabout who gets cash out on their credit card so they can pop into William Hill.

And seriously - change your PIN!

What credit card do you have with them that looks identical to your debit card with them?

Think I mentioned on another thread that I did the same. Having a different PIN didn't help me - when the machine rejected the PIN I just assumed I'd muddle up the PINs so typed the other one in and didn't think that it was the card that was wrong...

The only bit that should be attracting interest now is the £30 cash withdrawal, so pay £30 (maybe £35 to cover any cash fee) today from the current account that you meant to get the money from. Interest payable on normal purchases shouldn't be affected as far as I know. Then pay off the £400 as normal on 11/10 and £500 on 11/11. As said above the interest will just be for the £30 cash, maybe £0.02 a day.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

We are told ... I will put this at the top

Anyway you should use a different pin for your cards. i know that this is difficut trying to remember every cards pin. But still security is better if a seperate pin is used.

Just regular debit and credit cards, both the same green. they're not identical, that maybe was an exaggeration, but they are very similar and when in a rush, it's persisting down with rain, I just took the wrong one out, but didn't notice.
