Hi
Finally bought my kitchen from B+Q but decided to get a worktop from elsewhere as I didn't like the laminate choices on offer.
Can anyone reccommend where I could get a good deal on laminate tops, I need 2x 3 metre lengths??
Based in Manchester area - Atlantic Timber is on my list to visit in Altrincham, does anyone else have any suggestions??
Thanks!

Try homebase: they have some good ones and if you wait for the ten percent day you will save a bit more. I am in the process of buying a kitchen from them that I will install myself, and they are as cheap as anyone plus you get vouchers back on whatever amount you spend.0

The Ikea worktops look nice in the catalogue but I havent inspected them close-up!0

Try Focus. When we were doing our kitchen recently they were the only people who had what we wanted in stock & slightly cheaper than B & Q.0

IKEA solid worktops are good value for money if you want a solid wood top. Otherwise keep looking round and see if any timber merchants have any offers or will do a deal; or see if any of the sheds are having a sale.A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
It's a recession when your neighbour loses his job; it's a depression when you lose yours.0 -
Thanks for your help guys! Though the IKEA worktops are a funny size 610mm not 600mm Its soooo frustrating everything in IKEA is a different to everywherer else!
I've resorted to shopping at John Lewis!!0
