a word of warning, I used the MSE link for no booking fees for raileasy (booking tickets to/from London International otherwise I wouldnt) and it adds on a £2.50 booking fee (supposed to be 0 fees via MSE link) and £1.50 postage (advertised as free, collect from station free)
UPDATE - seems the minimum ticket cost is £10 for no booking fee, my original ticket was £7.50, i just added some extra journeys i am making anyway. it still wanted to charge for postage regardless0 -

Not only is there no booking fee, there is no credit card fee.
There is also free collect at station or free first class postage if you prefer, and leave enough time.
A big plus is their money back guarantee, which applies to most tickets.0 -
Please help I've looked through the guide, saw redspottedhanky came to mind, looked through it and still cannot find what I'm looking for.
Find me the cheapest available means to travel from Manchester to Kensington Olympia. Now I am not all that familiar with London train stations. I do want to return back too on the same day too.
I'm travelling from around 7-8 in the morning and coming back at 6-8.0 -

On what date? What time do you need to get to Olympia?0 -
I would suggest
Manchester - Olympia 4th June 20:15 arriving Olympia 22:51 (change at Watford Junction) £14 Advance
£40-£50 for a hotel overnight, then returning on the 5th 20:26, £27.50
Travel in the morning will be very expensive. There is a 5:05 train which is usually cheaper, but it's horribly early, and is unlikely to be cheaper than staying overnight0 -
Hi All
Just quick question I need a train back from London,Kings cross to Hull on the 26th Aug 2013 (bank holiday) I have a F&F rail card and will be traveling with myself and my daughter.
The cheapest I have found so far is around £41.00 single with F&F card
Firstly does any one think the tckets for the bank holiiday mondy will come down anymore,is it worth waiting and do they often release the bank holiday train fairs later than they do a normal day as we are at that golden 12 week period but that is the only day they are sky high.
Meany thaks in advance

From the Eastcoast web page the tickets for 26 August have not yet been released. Keep checking."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
