Hi all - new poster here!

    Today I will be:-
    • [STRIKE]Getting up earlier[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Load of washing[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Dishes away[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check banking[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Go home for dinner (might be an odd meal as the cupboards are pretty bare!)[/STRIKE]
    • Go shopping with my meal planner and list
    • Empty fridge

I'm a lazy bones and need to start getting up earlier so that I can do a couple of easy things in the morning to make the evenings run smoother. Me and DH got up together today at 7.15 and it could have been worse  I'm sure that's really late compared to those of you with kids!

  • Since my post this morning I have tried paying my rent on-line. This is a very tight month so I thought I'd put it on my credit card, but the payment was declined.

One phone call later and it appears that the CC company put a block on my card in May as I'd written to say I was having difficulties. Since then, not only did I pay all arrears within a month, but have also paid above minimum payments every month without fail. I seems I have to do that for six months before they unblock the card.

Okay, I understand they have to be cautious, but I had no letter saying this would happen, and they paid my bike insurance in September so I wasn't actually aware anything was amiss.

I can't wait to be debt-free as this is really getting me down now :(:(:(

hey stitching witch...mine did the same when i rang to inquire about whether for 2 months i could reduce my payments as i ewas having difficulties...I am trying to see it as a good thing (hard at times) but i doo feel for you, but the bonus is you can out extra things on it and therefore dont increase your debt :)
been away for a while..need to get on financial track!
