Email been hacked into?

On two occasions this week I have had an email from my OH. Both of which are spam (AVG flagged up a threat). What should OH do? Is just changing his password enough?

If he's using a web based email service, like hotmail, then changing his password might do it and should be done anyway,
If he handles his email on his computer, using something like Outlook Express, then he may have a virus or malware on it. Look to see if the messages you have received are in his sent items. If he hasn't got anti-virus on there check it out. Since AVG picked up the message on your computer, run it on his, if it isn't already there.
