Laptop boot error

Hi guys,
Since yesterday when ever I boot my laptop, just after the manufacturer boot screen I get the following in the top left of the screen.
"INTEL(R) ME ERROR"
The only way to get past the error message is to press Esc, at which point it continues to boot as normal.
I have posted on the manufacturers forum and as of yet no response that has worked. I have reset the BIOS to the default settings but this has made no difference.
Any suggestions welcome.
