Don't know about Caernarfon, but my favourite in the Cardiff area are the fireworks at Caerphilly Castle (free, but with lots of donation buckets).0

Best paying display is St Helens Rugby ground, but if you can get onto a hill nearby, you can get a good view, as long as you don't block the roads up. If you can get to Townhill, Pantycelyn Road overlooks Swansea and you can see displays all over the place.0

anyone know of any others (apart from Coopers Field) that are on the sat ? ( or sun)
Cardiff / Bridgend ish areas
someone mentioned the Colwinston one?

hi
i live in the bridgend area now but i used to live in caerphilly. the display there is amazing. they have a funfare next to it too if u want ot get right up close to the castle.
I can recommend the pub overlooking the castle (the courthouse) with a garden thats in the perfect location to watch (although i have to say, if you want to get in there and have a good view you would have to be there a while before it starts). If you don't like the crowds the display can be seen all across the town, so go up onto the mountain (small carpark up on top) and watch from there.
Hope that helps0 -
