How long before you can get a survey

Hi

Just has a seller inform me that there previous buyer has dropped out from the sale. They are now offering us the sale if we can get a surveyor out in less than 1 week.

We have a mortgage in principle and and offer on our house. How realistic is getting a surveyor out that quick?

I haven't worked for a surveyor for a few years now, but we had to view the property within 3 days from the instruction.
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

While the housing market is so slow, surveyors don't have a lot to keep them busy. Try phoning round a few for quotes and tell them that you need them to be able to go out this week. There's a good chance that at least one of them will be able to fit you in...
  • They shouldn't have an problem doing it within a couple of days, as long as the sellers provide access.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
