I went for the first time recently.

No matter how much planning you do, just accept that the first day you are going to be wandering around getting your bearings. Don't get stressed by it - just remember then next dy is gonna be so much more structured.

There is loads to do and the place is huge.

We will be returning next year.

    Enjoy.

Start early & stay late, book your Disney tickets in advance and then you can go through the quick queue.

Take some snacks and drinks with you but not too many as they will be heavy to carry.

Have a good breakfast as food is not cheap inside and the picnic place is a long way from the park.

    Hope you enjoy it

  • Grab "Fast Pass" tickets for the major rides (Space Mountain etc). They enable you jump straight to the front of the queue between a pre-allocated time period. If you don't get them for most of the popular rides you'll spend hours queuing!!!

If you plan on seeing the Lion King show, which is superb, get to the ticket queues early to avoid disappointment, they get full very quickly.
