Looking for a plug in tv receiver for my laptop. Have seen a lot advertised on ebay that are freeview ones. Would this be enough to get tv or do I need a tv receiver first and use this to convert it to digital tv. As you can gather I am not very technically minded. Thanks

The freeview ones are complete units. They receive the digital signal and the decoding is done in software. Beware that the supplied aerials are a joke and won't work very well until analogue has been turned off at the transmitter in your area or you're close to it.0 -
