    So this is that of PPI then.

    You can give it a go by pursuing the ones who set this up for you, cancel it as well, because it will reduce the debt, and not only that if successful this will also help to reduce the balance/debt owed and anything remaining of the refund plus interest should be awarded to you.

    There is a reclaiming questionnaire as stage one, complete and sent to whoever sold and set up your policy from the start, keep a copy as well, they have 8 weeks to give a decision and may possibly ask for more time, this is okay, just as long as they keep you informed.
