Scottish Power Sales Reps in Crawley area

Just a heads up to people in the Crawley area that Scottish Power reps are out and about in the town.

I had one guy claiming, after I had called him on his claim that he wasn't trying to sell me anything, that he had to do a 'mandatory tariff check' before he could leave. I sent him away with a flea in his ear, and also advised him that I was the designated contact for my two elderly neighbours so he needn't bother knocking on their doors (they have a sticker on their doors telling people to contact me first).

I found the actions of this particular cold caller deceitful, as evidenced by his parting shot of 'Well if you're happy paying higher charges...".

Claiming that they need to perform mandatory tariff checks is the actions of con artists, and I would not dream of doing business with any company that employed such people, directly or indirectly.
