When should I order from "3" to ensure Friday delivery?

I'm about to order a mobile broadband dongle direct from 3, but I'm only in all day on Friday of this week; will they post it through the letterbox? If not, when should I order it to ensure Friday delivery?

    Look at the following link:

    http://ask3.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/webisapi.dll/,/?New,Kb=Mobile,TS=Mobile,varset_USERNAME=Mobile:mobileUser,docid=1635

it says dongles are delivered by royal mail and takes 3 working days. not sure if its recorded delivery. so if u order today you may have a chance of getting on thursday / friday.

if it arrives on thursday and cant fit in ur letterbox or its sent by recorded delivery they will leave a card and u can pick it up on friday.

    • We use Royal Mail for all our SIM and dongle deliveries
    • Delivery can take up to three days to arrive. We send it through Royal Mail’s Packet Post service.
    • Your delivery could arrive any time of day, but usually it’ll be before 11am.

i would expect a dongle to fit through a standard letterbox

...what I tend to do these days with small goods is try to get them delivered to me at work, then there is always someone in the post room able to sign for stuff and bring it up.... (plus so long as they are bribed with the occasional packet of biscuits in return they're happy with the arrangement too).

Not all companies deliver to a different shipping/billing address tho.
