No probs - its only stopping me from getting on with my work, and to be honest my in tray is looking a bit scary!

Ok lets start with maybe these:

ooopps..I've just been looking at the charms, apart from accidentally wasting 20 minutes whilst at work, I've also just worked out that I've picked about 190 charms and I only need 90! How to narrow it down to only 90!

ive decided to do phone charms to hang from the favours

Please can I have some advice?
I've found ring things to go round the glasses and am looking at charms and beads and the other ring things that join the charm to the ring around the glass.
So-what size joining ring do I need? Do I need "open" or "closed" rings? I was thinking open and using pliers to close them when I've put the charm on, would that work?
What size beads to I need? Does the mm size mean the hole in the middle or the bead size?!
I'm loving it, but don't want to order the wrong stuff!

the mm is the bead size,

ive went for 5mm joining rings(only cos i know if i get them any smaller , they would be to fiddly for me ) slightly open which i will close with pliers

for the bead size , will come down to personal choice

Hi Magicboo, if the charm doesnt have a hoop that attaches so it dangles then you need something called a jump ring. As another poster said how small you go is up to you as it can be fiddly. I went for these:

So I will be closing them with pliers but they are very small (thats what I wanted as I didnt want a lot of 'hoop', if they were the ones that threaded on they would be very fiddly.

As for beads the mm is how big the bead is, ive gone for a mix of 6mm, 4mm & 3mm so that I can have larger ones either side of the charm getting smaller. Im not filling the whole hoop though.

What sort of colours are you going for? I can suggest some to help out?

Some beads that come can be clogged up by plastic a bit - rather than getting annoyed i bought these to poke through to make a clear path. Once Ive had my wine charm night ill have a spare one and its free to a good home.... x
