Its an animated film. Will probably be released in 3D as is the norm these days. Saw a trailer whilst at the cinema this weekend and it looked great. I dont really remember them from my childhood, but I was aware of them. The film looks sweet and funy - defo one for the kids (as are all my films at the mo!)
I haven't seen the trailer for The Smurfs but I was never a fan tbh. I'll wait to see the trailer before I comment further.0 -

Are you sure you're not married to my friend Veronica? She's the only other person I know who didn't enjoy The Hangover!!
I've seen trailers of Due Date and am a big fan of RDJ but I think they are hanging themselves out to dry by making such big claims about it. The Hangover was such a phenomenon and a surprise success that I don't think they should make comparisons when promoting later films and I'm also worried about the sequel.:(0 -
. . . and are we all looking forward to seeing Santa Paws??:rotfl:0

I am soooooooo looking forward to seeing the Twon Legacy but it would take me around 3 hours in travelling time just to see 30 minutes or less. It isn't worth the bother tbh.
Can't wait for Tron Legacy either...hopefully they'll do an actual preview and remember those of us in Lincoln (won't hold my breath) Thinking I could even show my filmclub kids the original Tron as a taster?
OH has even said he will join me if there's a preview - the last few previews I've had have been chick flicks - with the exception of Dispicable Me of course!
Just seen the release date for Inception on dvd - 6/12/10 - never did get to the cinema to see it...only a few weeks to wait and I can rent it

My local Tesco Express still has a box full of these sitting next to the tills, after a while they start giving away things like this to kids etc DS ended up with about 10 free packs of Match Attack cards the other day to his utter delight...might be worth checking if you have one local......don't ask, don't get and all that!:hello:0 -

That's a really good idea showing the original Tron, if any of them get to see Tron Legacy it will all make sense to them. One discussion point - how technology in these films has changed immensely. I remember being impressed by the efx in the original one :rotfl: Fingers crossed for a preview in areas that everyone can get to and please not Cheshire Oaks in my case.:p My preferences are FACT or Odeon Liverpool ONE. <hint hint>
Now I know why Tibbs has been so quiet!! She's queuing up to buy/rent Inception. That's what she means by "busy":D
Didn't they have a number to call or write to if you missed a DVD? Try putting a wanted request on your local freecycle/freegle site0 -
