I dont really remember them from my childhood, but I was aware of them. The film looks sweet and funy - defo one for the kids (as are all my films at the mo!)

I haven't seen the trailer for The Smurfs but I was never a fan tbh. I'll wait to see the trailer before I comment further.

I've seen trailers of Due Date and am a big fan of RDJ but I think they are hanging themselves out to dry by making such big claims about it. The Hangover was such a phenomenon and a surprise success that I don't think they should make comparisons when promoting later films and I'm also worried about the sequel.:(

Just seen the release date for Inception on dvd - 6/12/10 - never did get to the cinema to see it...only a few weeks to wait and I can rent it

HUGE thanks for the heads up on the Carry On films in the Mail the other week...now have all apart from one...missed a day ooops!:o

My local Tesco Express still has a box full of these sitting next to the tills, after a while they start giving away things like this to kids etc DS ended up with about 10 free packs of Match Attack cards the other day to his utter delight...might be worth checking if you have one local......don't ask, don't get and all that!

That's a really good idea showing the original Tron, if any of them get to see Tron Legacy it will all make sense to them. One discussion point - how technology in these films has changed immensely. I remember being impressed by the efx in the original one :rotfl: Fingers crossed for a preview in areas that everyone can get to and please not Cheshire Oaks in my case.:p My preferences are FACT or Odeon Liverpool ONE. <hint hint>

Now I know why Tibbs has been so quiet!! She's queuing up to buy/rent Inception. That's what she means by "busy" :D

Didn't they have a number to call or write to if you missed a DVD? Try putting a wanted request on your local freecycle/freegle site

If it helps. it looks like this is going straight to DVD a short while after preview. Maybe a pressie from Santa?
