oh dear how bad was troll hunter!

for a small minority who came to this screening without a clue what it would be (there was an audible sigh amongst the older generation)

Please don't generalise about the "older generation"? :(

    A Lonely Place to Die.

Went to the Sky screening last night with OH and we were both really surprised at how good this movie was. Very edge of seat and quite surprising - much better than anticipated.

Cinema was 85% full and I wondered if Sky do actually release returned tickets?

I think there may have been a low turnout for this film because there were other preview screenings on the same night and some might not have returned tickets but decided to go see a film they might have have heard about more than this particular film. I certainly know people who didn't bother going to it and doubt they returned their tickets. My screening had around 50% attendance. :(
  • I'm returning two tiks for Columbiana and Drive in Glasgow in the next two minutes if that helps anyone.

My screening was about 95+% full.
Only spotted a few seats on the very front row.
I was also pleasantly surprised at the film. I am not really into horror/gore/scary movies, but I could cope with this one.
Film seemed to have a bit of a split personality.
One minute it was a gentle 'climbing' film....with the added suspense/tension of what was going to go wrong (well with a title like Lonely place to die, and a 15 certificate, it is not exactly going to be a rom-com!)
In the middle it was like a British version of Deliverance, and at the end.... well !
Huge gaping holes in the plot. Little logic, credulity stretched to breaking point .... but still a very enjoyable evening.;)
    Loving Sean Harris:T
    (Harry Brown and The Borgias)
I can see him having a very long and successful acting career.....cannot wait to see him in some big budget Hollywood movies. Or has he already been in some and I missed him?
  • has anyone received an email from virgin to say they were successfull?
  • you instead: Altrincham

after waiting for 40mins to start we where told there where technical difficulties.

we got offered a choice of films to watch instead or a voucher to go back another time.
    cant beat that.
    nice 1 Altrincham!

ended up watching one day. pretty good film and it was on my watch list.

Do I assume if I haven't received an email, I haven't been allocated tickets?
