  • hi everyone! does anyone know whether there is going to be a screening for "One Day" before general release? Has anyone received any codes for it?
  • Hi folks, there's a distinct lack of activity on this and the codes thread, has something happened or has there just been nothing to comment on?

    It's gone really quiet here at the moment - is everyone on holiday?!

    I'm not a Sky customer so I haven't been able to go to any freebies at Norwich and the Virgin screening doesn't include my cinema either. Rubbish! :(

    Hopefully things will pick up soon. I keep checking NatWest FilmFirst. I haven't been to the cinema for weeks!
  • I looked on the RBS Film First website and was really disheartend to see that they were only offereing screenings in Scotland, however I have looked on their terms and conditions and it says the following;

    RBS is part of RBS Group, along with NatWest. As well as our RBS Film First outdoor screenings taking place across Edinburgh and Glasgow, there will also be NatWest Film First screenings taking place in London, Manchester and Wales.
    As an RBS customer, as long as you book with your RBS debit card, you may also attend NatWest Film First events in London, Manchester and Wales.

    Hope this helps clear things up :)

    Hope you don't mind SUBTITLES (assuming there are any :) )

    Mind you, I suppose grunts, groans & moans are the same in any language - along with the squelching sounds of any !!!!!! movie :rotfl:

    This is a Chinese film in CANTONESE (presumably not dubbed into English)

    AND it looks like the English censors have cut the best bits - 19 minutes shorter than it should be.

    Even Australians got 3 minutes more and those in Hong Kong another 8 :rotfl:

    I do like world cinema. I've seen quite a few Chinese/Japanese/French films.
