Well if you're going to get a USB one, its going to be a drivers and software based one if its not just a USB hard drive enclosure. NAS stands for Network Attached Storage. Attached to a computer via USB isn't really NAS is it? And it'll mean the computer its connected to having to be on all the time for others to access.
Do the job properly. Get one with a RJ45 socket on that hooks up to your router.0 -
I do need with one with an ethernet socket so i can connect to the router.
Basically, i have a USB hard drive which i want to share on my network so i need something like this, http://www.svp.co.uk/technology/aero-light-10-100-nas-usb-dongle-adapter_mte-01061.html
But there are so many to choose from.0 -
