Exactly. I was quoted £220 by the church lady just for pedestal flowers and pew bows. I declined and got them from ebay for £70 then got a decorator with a shop right near the church to do them on the day for just £30. so £100 all inclusive. Result.QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0

Thank you everyone for your responses, I'm so glad that the general opinion seems to be that we're not being unreasonable! I can't believe some of the prices that churches are charging.
