If your heading up to Newtonmore, how about visiting the Highland Folk Museum - a mile of interavtice history which is all free!!
Just got back from our wee break earlier, we visited the Waltzing waters yesterday, weather was a bit grotty when we got up so thought we'd make the trip (not sure why but husband was set on going?) it was good but tbh I don't think I'd go out of my way or bother to go again, the show is great the water & light's looked brilliant but it was a bit repetitive but hey ho we've been now.
Anyway when we got out I said why don't we drive up this way a wee bit then head back, just a wee bit up the road we found The Highland Folk Museum it was great, especially as the sun was out & we had a lovely afternoon there. I'd def recommend the museum.
    Booo!!!
