Good going guys
I fell of the wagon on Friday. Walked past Philpots and I had been asking for Mint and Pea soup for ages and wouldn't you know it Friday they had it. My will crumbled and I got some
On a positive point my OH has found me a good cheaper alternative so i'll give that a go next week0 -

Hope the pet is OK MissW2J!
Thanks tete - unfortunately £200+ and the rabbit still died (but he was insured) our one remaining one has been checked and apart from being an evil diva (launced herself out of the pet carrier at the vet).....is absolutely fine. Such a shame as my favourite was the poorly one ( I know you're not supposed to have favourites but he was like a little lap dog rather than a rabbit very affectionate and well behaved, would come when you called his name and everything). Guttedbut he wasn't in any pain and was given the best treatment and battled til the end so we know we did everything we could - sadly it was just one of those things. Just waiting for the insurance to send me the cheque (i'd rather have the rabbit back though).
Have you tried sweetcorn & peppers (frozen bags of mixed peppers are much cheaper than fresh and last longer) to bulk out your boring pasta. Or throw a stock cube in when you cook it to add flavour. I like making pasta with some grated cheese (good for leftover bits) tinned pineapple and ham - its just like my favourite pizza topping but in pasta version!!!0 -
Aww sorry to hear that Miss
I know what you mean, I try not to have favourites between my cats but as it happens the cutest one is also the best behaved and most sweet
Thanks for the pasta tips - to be honest it was only really boring because I'd stretched the same tin of tuna and sweetcorn to three days, all in a row! As for jacket potatoes - one topping I love form the potato shop round the corner is shredded crab sticks with mayo - and apparently crab sticks are practically zero calories (I guess because they're not really made of anything real?!) so as long as you use light mayo it's a healthy meal.
7/7 today for me - I'm having couscous with roasted toms, mushrooms and sweetcorn, and still have loads of bags of crisps in my drawerHappy monday to all!

OOoh I never thought of any seafood other than tuna on potatoes - good thinking tete. Today i've got a whooops reduced salad I bought last night for 17p - its such a bargain I dont count it as buying lunch as I got it with the rest of our weekly shop. I've also got a pack of garibaldi biccies in my drawer if I get the munchies and I've got a tin of fruit salad. Cheap & cheery and long lasting - i'm loving tins at the mo. We also got some free sample sachets of frothy coffee (cant remember the brand) so i've brought that into work too. Only 1 more week of job no2 - then the serious scrimping starts, but i'm convinced i'll have so much spare time to shop around and actually do stuff that i'll save money cos i've got more time to plan.0

So far I've managed 8/20, I've been making a mixture of chickpeas, tinned tomatoes and loads of Tabasco and that has been my lunch for the last 8 working days. Having recently gone vegan, I'm finding it a lot easier not to buy sandwiches, or anything because everything seems to have cheese in! Though sometimes, in the dead of the afternoon, Innocent pots call my name...HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

I'm off work and will be at home this week, I'm thinking I might end up spending more money when I go out, so will try and eat before I go out! Strangely it's good to have a routine it makes things easier!Nearly debt free
