First time poster but I hope you can help.
I'm booking a wedding venue in Majorca and need to pay a deposit of 1500 euro's.
Now the question is which Credit Card shall I pay deposit on.
I have a VirginMoney Credit Card that I use to buy things but pay the bill at the end of the month and no interest is payed.
I have also just got the Halifax Clarity Card which give a perfect exchange rate no commission but charges interest monthly of 12.9% regardless of whether you pay in full at end of the month.
Decision's
Thanks in advance.

Your assertion is wrong. See condition 3.4 of your agreement to see why.I have also just got the Halifax Clarity Card which give a perfect exchange rate no commission but charges interest monthly of 12.9% regardless of whether you pay in full at end of the month.0 -
So does that mean if I pay deposit with this card then pay off at the end of the month I will not be charged any commission or interest?0

Yeah that's correct. I'm pretty sure thats the same with every credit card? At least in the past 2 years i've been using, i've only been charged about £30 interest for about £15,000 worth of spending.0
;37185254]I'm pretty sure thats the same with every credit card?
Although rare, there are some cards that don't work like this with purchases. The LTSB Advance card is one that immediately springs to mind.0

It's just that I got the clarity card because it was the best for spending abroad and even if you payed in full at the end of the month you were still charged interest which 12.9% was about 1%0

Is that something you read on here? If so, then the cash withdrawal feature was being discussed...not purchases. It's just that I got the clarity card because it was the best for spending abroad and even if you payed in full at the end of the month you were still charged interest which 12.9% was about 1%0 -
Yeah I got that from here. Went to NY last week and read on here that Halifax Clarity Card was best for spending abroad. I applied for it 2 weeks before I went away but sods law it came in the post the morning I went away so didn't get to use it. So don't know the real charges on it yet just what I've read on here. So with your knowledge should I pay with the clarity card?0
