eBay guidance on buyer arranging own courier

Ive got a cheeky buyer who wants to arrange his own courier (has left it until 3 days after the auction to tell me this!).

I have politely refused, but would be handy to point him in the direction of any official eBay guidance which states that sellers should not allow this as it means they will not have the same seller protection.

Has anyone got a link? Tried searching eBay Help section without success.

There is no official ebay guidance at all, just common sense.

Stay firm, collection in person is not the same as sending a courier.

Tell them its OK as long as the courier brings the payment with them. A mate did this
when he setup on his own but charged extra.
