Aww, thanks for all the good luck vibes guys
It went well... I felt relaxed and confident. There was one question that I realised afterwards I could have given a better example for, but generally there weren't any totally tricky questions and the panel were friendly and chatty... not stoney faces as I was trying to talk to them!!! The place was lovely... gorgeous place to live.
I had quite a lot of opportunity to chat to the other candidates (there were 4 of us) and I think there is one particular woman who is much better qualified for the role than me really, and she studied at that college so she's familiar with how it works. But you never know how she did in her interview etc do you?
My outfit was good... the group varied in smartness... but I felt confident in my suit! It was a bit conservative for the general atmosphere of the place but I showed I was serious and professional... to be honest one of the other candidates really looked as though she wasn't bothered. That might not be the case but it looked like that... I'd rather be too conservative than feel like that!
Apparently they were hoping to make a decision today and let me know 'soon' - whatever that means! Maybe tomorrow by phone if its a yes and in a few days by letter if its a no?!
I'm philosophical though, what will be will be. And I mean that genuinely... its either meant to happen or not. It will be great if I get it and a great learning experience either way!

Well done hun. So glad that it went well and that you were pleased with your outfit. Sure you will get it. Now young lady tonight you just have to RELAX.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

I agree with the poster who said there's no such thing as too smart. I bet you will have made an impression in your suit, particularly as others weren't as well-dressed. They've done you a favour0

Well done Kath, sounds like you held your own and you had a good day!
I hope they let you know sooner rather than later. It's good to be philosophical about it, you've done your best, now it's up to themLeason learnt :beer:0 -
