I am strongly considering buying one of these for £100 as a replacement for a camera that I only bought 6 months ago as the pictures it takes indoors are very poor dark and grainy!

I'm certainly not a pro but I do like good photos I generally use the Auto setting and have found this fine with my old digital camera I only replaced it as although it took good pictures it was really slow - particularly the shutter speed.

Has anyone got the Panasonic would you recommend it? Does it take good natural looking outdoor shots and good indoor ones? Is it fast?

I have been looking at reviews and they all seem really good, I don't really want to spend much more than £100 and it does seem really good value for the price. I'm just a bit cautious having already shelled out for a camera this year I don't want to end up with another one that I'm not happy with!

Any thoughts / suggestions appreciated.

  • Well depending what your looking for it may or may not fill all of your needs!

My gf has it and it's a pretty good camera. We were recently on holiday and compared her shots from the FS10 to my shots with a canon DSLR (with kit lens) and the image quality was good! As was the colour quality!

As for being fast, depends what you mean by that? Do you want a fast shutter speed? There is a sport mode but we've never found the need to use it because the DSLR is more suited for the task, so can't common on it.
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!

    Thanks for you answer chimpofdoom!

I think I'm going to go for it and buy it! All the reviews are mainly good and if you think it compares well to the shots from a canon DSLR that sounds good to me.
