Help Please
I had a Matki Shower fitted 2 years ago, and after 12 months I noticed that you had to lift the door a little when fully open to get it to run on the roller. So after about 18 months I rang Matki who promptly came out. They note that the base was not totally square, about a bubble out over the width its a big stone base. However they changed the door seat which had deteriorated and that was that. Since then it has been replaced 3 more times in 6 months. I need to get this resolved Matki are saying they have never known this to be the case. I am worried that the issue may be that it was not fitted correcty in the first palce, base not level. I don't want to start proceedings to go to UKAS if it was an installation fault. Can anyone help with advise on how to proceed?

Seriously though fella Ive never even heard of the company but cant you get some sort of independent report that the thing was faulty? Otherwise the company will just say it's been badly fitted.
Hope you get it sorted dude.

Thanks for reponse, its who do you go too to get an independent report? I thought about a Surveyor but I am unsure if this is the right person0

I dont want to give you any serious advice cos I dont really know what Im talking about, but I reckon some sort of report from a reputable builder or bathroom fitter on headed paper would do the job as an independent report, saying something like 'i believe this product is faulty and the problems are not caused by bad fitting' or something.
There are tons of people here more qualified than me to advise you mind!
All the best anyway fella!
