Many thanks to all at FCC, you all do a sterling job :)

Count me in for this week, although I might not be doing much tomorrow as I have a councelling session in the morning, ugh, and it always mucks up my day somehow.. But I will try my best even if it's just sorting the washing out :) But normal service will resume on Tuesday :)

Quick update, we have two baby birds appeared with our brood of birds in the mornings now - a baby Woodpigeon (need a name for him now) and a baby collared dove (need a name for this one too!). Any suggestions anyone? :)

Off to change the bed, then going to bed with my new Nella Last (remember Housewife 49 with Victoria Wood on the t.v.) book which arrived from Amazon on Saturday. This is her third book and it is just as good as her last two, except this time it is set in the 1950's rather than wartime :)

Sorry it's late Fedup - Happy Birthday, hope you had a lovely birthday honey :)

Hugs and love to everyone, especially Toots, LL and Diva :)

Hello peeps, can I join please?

I am seriously in need of some motivation for keeping my house clean and tidy. I am inherently lazy (as is DH, unfortunately) and since having a baby in February I have been meaning to do more regular cleaning and keep things nice for our family. Not quite managing it at the moment though and hoping you guys can inspire me!

I am off on maternity leave so in theory have plenty of time on my hands, I'm just very good at finding better things to do than clean and tidy.

    Evening all

Welcome to all the new people and dry weather/good time vibes for LW and Mr LW.

I'm hoping to be in, albeit in a limited fashion. Many thanks to FCC for the thread. Lots of work again this week and I'm still not feeling great, so don't want to overdo it. Tomorrow night there's a 'meet the tutor' evening at DS1's college and he urgently needs a guitar tuner for Tuesday. Apparently he told me that he needed it soon, but forgot to mention this deadline.

I'm a bit worried about my laptop, as it's permanently plugged into the power supply, but intermittently telling me that it's out of power. :( When my last one broke it was replaced with an identical model of the same age. The technician admitted that it was unlikely to last long. I'm going to spend a bit of time now, weeding out unnecessary files and hoping that the rest will just fit on my memory stick. I can't risk losing the lot.

Have a good week everyone. I'll try for my usual daily post and reading the last page or too when I'm on. The theme for the week is 'the great declutter'. DH is not in a good mood, so I suppose I'm on my own with it. I will beat this mess!!!
    xxx

Thanks, Valli I'd forgotten about that. It would be my second choice, though, as I'd prefer not to have to deal with the mails. Also, active studio flipcharts don't work that way, and we use those a lot.

Thanks to those at flylady central, I am in until Friday anyway

I want to make sure I leave it all clean and tidy for when I get out of hospital (mind you I expect it will be messed up by the time I get home)

need to also make money big time

ds has been selected for the england u16 squad!! good news but big financial commitment
wilf thats great news - WTG that young man!!!:T:T:T work out when you need the money by and how long that gives you in weeks so you know how much you have to make each week - so if you reckon you need for example £70 per week thats 70 things at £1 or 35 at £2 or 7 @£10 etc etc - somethings wont sell so you need to put on more and somethings will do better thats a bonus - be pessimistic and put loads to cover any not solds! YOU CAN DO IT - you have before and you will again - lets get started now!!!! every penny is a prisoner from now on and everything has an ebay value - you get 100 free listings per month if it starts under 99p or if there is a free listing day so make use of them.

pavlovs_dog thank you for the lovely post!:o
