Tag - I feel your pain

Part of me wishes I actually had launched the thing out the window yesterday when it burnt my arm! :(

A 4 inch long 1 cm wide burn that I've just caught on the hoover and ragged it open :( Ouch it stings veryily muchly so I'm going to bed with a book now!

Probably end up with a vicious paper cut from that I expect!

Anyway, tatty nite all and see you tomorrow.

  • Arggh. Back to the grindstone. Didn't have chance to read all the posts or do all of level 1.

But I did - declutter chairs, floor and top of cupboards - it just took me a while.

Thank you for the inspiration! Off to bed as I am sick, knackered and have to get up early tommorrow.

    Evening all

Today at work brought a few more deadlines to meet - the most important and urgent one for this Friday. Looks like flying will have to be relegated again. Tea x3 sorted, read with DS2 and spent quite a bit of unexpected quality time with DS1. :D
Work now after a couple of pages of fred/MG's thread.

Thanks, dusty. Between 10pm and 2am is actually a good time for me to work, as I'm useless with anything involving the brain earlier in the evening. Only problem is that this is not really compatible with school hours. Can you be owl and lark at the same time? It's the bit in between I've got a problem with.

DH is still behaving like a KH. I've decided that I've got to save some money and get the house sorted before I make any decisions. Can't rely on myself if I've got no financial back-up and this place doesn't make me look like a responsible adult. Got to be prepared as it is very likely to get nasty if I go for it.

Hope everyone had a good day and hugs/spoons for everyone else. xxx

    Books are NOT a problem.

Hugs for all those who need them. There seems to be a lot of pain and heartache about at the moment.
    Gentle ones for you Tag.

MrsC sounds like you could use a hug.. And there's one for vanilla too - & for anyone else that wants/needs one..

Am not having a very successful flying week so far :( but have been doing lots of decluttering, so I'm hoping that counts! 40 watchers on my one e8ay item with 4 days to go :D but mostly my flinging has been going to the bonfire, recycling bin, or landfill.

Hope tomorrow is a bit more visibly fruitful ;)

Another large box of paper work sorted and 2 carriers worth of paperwork to empty into the recycle bin tomorrow. The box was dumped in since moving here, even had the receipts for the carpets in :o but anyway the needed bits are in the filing cabinet now and it's empty

    Still no driving licence ....

DPs just said he'll cover schools on a morning from now so he's actually going to be getting up at 6.30am through the week. This is going to be a bit weird! I think we'll all have to start going to get to bed & up a bit earlier as his alarm will wake the whole house up! I'm used to DS1 being awake but he'll stay in his room most days, now he'll want to be up & away.

Tomorrow I MUST go to pay the caravan storage fees, I'll take some of the stuff I've sorted and a bottle of milton to make sure the fridge etc hasn't gone stinky. We've normally used it until the end of October so it's been a bit strange without seeing it.

I'll be doing the sitting room tomorrow and sorting any more paperwork I can find now the dining area is done! I also need to do the kitchen which is a tip, I have done some but not all of it. Need to get it sorted so I can rearrange the 'normal' cupboards one by one now the pantry is sorted.

Anyway, suppose I best get to bed. Night night all x x x
One day I might be more organised...........

Finished the pink cardy.. it is HUGE so I am doing another one.. she is pretty desperate for this size though we have loads in the bigger size and a few that never fit her! Good job I am not a particularly slow knitter..

Books I am ok with (I only have 19 boxes still taped up from when we moved here 5 years ago as we have nowhere to put them until the girls room is sorted and the bookshelf built.. ) But I have loads and loads and loads of wool!!! I am woking on knitting it all up but I seem to keep buying more..

Away to bed with OH.. we are all fairly shattered today.. almost weekend and no having to get up for school!! YIPPEE!!!
