New laptop advice please....

Hi

Am looking to buy a new laptop and looking for recommendations please. Im not particularly fussed about cost but definately want something which is reliable. I would rather not spend any more than about £800. I will mainly be using it for internet & uploading photos (although mainly just internet.)

I wont consider Dell as I bought one around 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems since. I know nothing about computers so would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks :)

£800 is OTT for your needs, what's wrong with the Dell?

Half your budget would get you what you need but if you're happy to spend that sort of money then how about an AppleMac?

One of my work colleagues just bought one and tells me the learning curve from Windows to OS X isn't that difficult.

The AppleMac has just been reduced on Amazon to £779.99 so get in quick before they're all gone.
