can you mix nail varnishes to get different colours?

    As Gwen said above, your best bet would be to layer the green over another colour. I do this all the time. You can get some really good results from layering colours over a base of black, especially some of the pale, pearlised or holographic colours. You can try it out on a piece of white paper first to get an idea of what it would look like.

    Ok just checked the link to the pic and its not working if anyone can explain to me how to put a pic on here then you can see my rubbish nail varnish:D

    I managed to see it ok. Sorry but I quite like the colour but then I do like purple :)

    The sludgy colours are all the rage at the moment anyway. Just have a look at Nails Inc's Jermyn Street. That's been a massive bestseller and you don't get more sludgy than that.

    Thanks, that might be a better solution as I dont have any empty bottles to mix into. will try and take photos and show everyone

    I'd love to see some pics. I get all my inspiration for my nails from other people. Bit obsessed with nail varnish I'm afraid.
