Hiya

Personally I would wait about 28 days and contact them if you hear nothing, but then Welcome may be different, so there is no harm in contacting them now just to make sure, good luck.;)

........forever i got my 1st acceptance letter on 21 st sept with incorrect amount then got my 2nd but correct letter and returned it apparently unsigned (hmmm i think not) and have sent a 3rd letter off (after i had photcopied it) ive been told i should receive refund by 27th Nov....we'll see!!! hope yours does nt take as long

spoke to them today Welcome said my funds had been released on 8th Nov. Should be in my account in Ten days. All in all taken 8 weeks to sort excellent considering it was rejected a year ago. Hope your gets sorted soon

hi just a bit of advice my partner as tried to reclaim ppi from welcome but they have sent a reject letter saying its before the timescale just before they have to look at the complaint. is it worth following this up with fos or not any advice would be great.


yesterday recieved a letter of welcomr saying after looking in to my ppi claim we may be entitled to a ppi refund we have to sign and send authorisation for them to look into are accounts again. has any one eles had this and any sucess.

How exactly did they word the letter of reject?
Is this anything to do with them freezing complaints, due to the Judicial Review for the time being, or its one they cannot deal with as they were not regulated when this was taken out?

Yes others have received letters about refunds as well on here, so its possibly you do have some coming back to you, this happened with Lloyds as well where some of us received further payouts as were were underpaid ppi on upheld accounts, so this could be maybe on old rejected complaints.
Complete it anyway and see what happens, good luck.;)

Willow I know its a long time ago but did you have any sucess in your second paragraph you mentioned they were now looking in to it.I took out an agreement prior to 2003 and they have also told me my claim has been rejected as they were not regulated until 2003 .I have only just started my long walk but I still need hope there is something out there for me?
