Dreams Mattress

I "Searched This Forum" for advice on a new bed and have to say that although this thread is almost a year old, I have to agree with the comments about Dreams, which are relevant still. What an absolute sham their prices are. Balloons, flags and massive signs saying 50% off and then when you see the prices they are ridiculously high. Also the quality of the beds is very poor. I noticed on another thread that there is a recommended EBay supplier, but either my age or something prevents me from discovering who it is. We are looking for a double bed which is comfortable, not over firm but with good support. Can you posssible PM me with a link. Many thanks.Tim_Deegan wrote: »Not just in my opinion, it's a fact. 5" or 6" isn't deep enough to stop you feeling the base underneath. Even cheap and nasty, bottom of the range budget mattresses are at least 6" deep. A memory foam mattress needs 2" of memory foam in order to do what the memory foam is designed to do (mould to your body and spread your weight out, prevening pressure points). Due to the properties of memory foam you sink most of the 2" into the memory foam. It's the spring or reflex foam layer underneath that gives you any bounce, and helps to provide support. It also determines the firmness of the mattress. 3" of reflex foam simply isn't enough to do this."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -

i heard that the memory foam matressess can get very warm as you sink into them. Is that tue?As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.0
