What Happens after the IVA?
I have made my last payment to freeman Jones & Our IVA Will end tomorrow 4th October.
I have sent them my last 6mths payslips etc & now I presume I will just wait for a completion certificate?
What should I do in the next 12 mths to get my credit record clear.
It has been a long tough road, but it will be worth it when all our debts are clear. - We started the IVA with £86k of debts and will now just have the mortgage and 2nd charge.
Any advice would be appreciated.:kisses::kisses::kisses:
Thanks

Well done on completing the IVA ... I bet you're really pleased that's over with, I know I was :beer:
The above link is really useful. I subscribed to Credit Expert to check my credit file and then wrote to each of the creditors to get the entries corrected - they were all wrong initially !! I'd give them a week then call up, they're usually very helpful actually. You will need the certificate so you can send a copy with your letter.
Good luck.
p.s. I tried to get a credit card with Vanquis to try and rebuild my credit rating however it was refused as I'd had an IVA. With hindsight I should have waited perhaps ......0
