ESTATE AGENTS PULL DOWN THE SHUTTERS

Estate agents are closing down at three times the rate they were six months ago according to a report to be published tomorrow, providing further evidence of a slowdown in the housing market.
According to Rightmove, the UK’s biggest property website, 124 estate agents have shut up shop since August, with 80 closing in the past three months alone. Rightmove said on Friday that a further 20 have closed down since the end of January as falling revenues continue to take their toll.0 -
