Hi Antispam,

This is something we've been experimenting with for a week or so as a way to see what's popular on our site in real time. We've always had stats to guage popularity such as how many times a thread is read or how many times a page is requested but this tool gives us almost instantaneous feedback which could be useful in terms of allocating more resource to areas that need it or, more importantly, alerting us when a problem happens.

I wouldn't call it spyware as it doesn't give feedback on individual users at all, just general traffic.

I find it annoying when ping message keeps appearing. I'm paranoid enough about being hacked!
