WTC - how long

I sent in a WTC application form 3 weeks ago and was wondering how long it will be before HMR&C respond - even an acknowledgement would be rather nice ?

Ah dont even ask I did mine on the 28th July!!!! STILL waiting had no payment either! In dire straights I tell ya!0
