Hi
I hope someone can please help. We are having trouble signing in to our hotmail account. Unfortunately we cant remember our password so have tried to go through the forgot password reset option. However when answering the security question, although entering the right information, hotmail is either not recognising it and will now not let us try again due to entering incorrect password too many times:mad::mad:
We have tried going through hotmail help centre however the automated responses do not seem to cover this scenario and when we try to ask a question, because we are not signed in it wont let us:mad::mad:
Please if anyone knows how to sort this out would you please help...

You don't answer security questions for password reset?
To get your password all you do is enter your Windows Live ID & the 6 character image & it sends to your nominated email address to reset

This is the first time I have been able to get onto the computer in 4 days now!!
To reset my password I have to answer the security question. Obviously I know the answer but the security page will not accept it.
I have been going round and round in circles for ages trying to find a solution and have not got anywhere
FEDZ I'm not very techie minded but I able to read the questions that come up on the security screen and believe me,it happens everytime.
Hence the post!:wall:0 -
If it fails on that screen then you are not typing in the original answer correctly. I'm afriad you're stuck! If my post helped you in anyway, please hit the "Thanks" button! Please note any advice I give is followed at your own risk!0

If you used to sign in using Firefox,,has Firefox not saved it ?
Look in Tools and see what passwords are stored on it
Plus Hotmail usually asks you for another email account just in case you forgot your password.Didnt you do that ?0
