my AVG takes 37 mins to do a complete scan :eek: ---is this about right??

Thanks--I suspected it would be-I usually carry on with whatever i'm doing while it gets on with it but tonight I just happened to notice the time taken.

never timed mine but its probably the same. I tend to do it while not doing anything else but am not sure if this makes things quicker or not!0

The time it takes will depend on how many files you have on your computer (and obviously the speed of you PC).
37mins doesn't seem too unreasonable0 -
Mine takes just under two hours to do a ful system scan which is about the same time it took my previous anti virus scanner. I guess it depends how much stuff there is on there to look through.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0
