Reasonable expenses??
Hi there,
Hubby is currently around 18 months into a Trust Deed. We have 3 children one of whom has mulitiple food allergies therefore our food bill is higher than average. When we originally completed the details the offer of payment was not accepted (they needed an increase of £95) as they said our housekeeping costs were too high.
As things stand at the moment we muddle through each month, cringing when it gets to the last week as we really are struggling. We have cancelled Sky and we don't drink or smoke. Our outgoings have increased during the last 18 months, our energy bills alone have rocketed.
We have today recvd the review paperwork so I am back to compiling another financial statement. Now from what I can gather the payments, once agreed at the beginning of the Trust Deed, will remain the same throughout....or if there is any reduction granted the shortfall will be added onto the end, am I correct in thinking this.
Also what is considered a reasonable amount for a)housekeeping and b) clothing. We have 3 children the eldest of whom is now in adult clothing/footwear and every time his feet grow it's another £150 in footwear minimum (as he has to have specific sports footwear for school, on top of his everyday trainers).
Also car maintenance? The family car (which we really cannot manage without and wouldn't get much if we sold) has cost us £1500 in repairs since the Trust Deed began, luckily my parents helped us out.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated
Thank you

If you are linked to or have access to Justabank or perhaps something similar (to check your payments have gone through) there is a budget list embedded in there somewhere. I only found it a couple of days ago myself.22 months until debt free0
