British Gas Pre-Payment Annual Statement

Have received our annual gas statement today. Very odd if you ask me it does not show you what amount you have paid over the last 12 months or itemises the top-ups you have made.

The only figure it does give is the expected amount you will spend in the next 12 months. It does tell you how many units you have used over the last 12 months but it only tells you the current tarriff rate on the reverse of the page.

I prefer to see in black and white how much l have spent and not have to calculate the answer myself.

I am being unreasonable....

The only reason that suppliers are now sending prepayment statements is because they have to provide consumption information to allow you to compare year on year.

As to how much you have spent, surely on prepayment that is very obvious because you pay every week so can see week on week how much you are spending.
