Yes, its happening to everyone due to an increase in fraudulent 'crash for cash' scams, Personal Injury claims and a rise in Accident Management companies charging a fortune.

Have you been through the comparison sites to see if its cheaper with another company? If so, call your current insurer up and threaten to leave. They'll often match the price with another company, and it makes it easier for you as you don't need to mess about changing companies.

Mine actually went down and when I put a sportier car(RX8) than my daily driver into comparethemarket yesterday it actually came out even cheaper than my oil burner which I inured a month or so ago.

Yeah I did the comparisons and a 30% increase was the best of 3 different sites. My insurer from last year wanted 110% more this year! I didint think they even deserved my business to be honest. Thanks rev_henry

Mines gone up despite maximum no claims. My current company want £597 inc breakdown, legal and protected no claims, and I did 1 search last week and like for like got a quote for £344.

I will still be searching though as my policy isn't due until the 14th.
That's my mutt in the picture above.
