Im on the look out for a offer like 10% off that would be great. be good if homebase, currys, coment .. other stores have a good deal.

The website i found one one is plumbtraders(dot)co.uk

I look foward to any suggestions.

The cheapest one on google appears to be

    http://www.discountedheating.co.uk/shop/acatalog/Ferroli_Optimax_31_HE_Plus_Combi_Boiler.html#a16519845461

At £627.74 inc VAT, appears to be about £25 cheaper than your source.
(You'll need to check/compare delivery costs though)

If you try a few other price comparison sites, I'd be surprised if you couldn't find one even cheaper.

I am not a fan of Ferroli, which is not even particularly cheap.
25kW combis seem to be pretty similar in pricing.

You probably want the matching flue (chimney) and possibly built-in timer, so you might as well buy the bundled pack, which saves a few quid.

    Hope it's not too late!

I have one of those boilers. DON'T BUY ONE!

The exchanger went in the first couple of months, which is an expensive part, so I was fortunate to have a guarantee.

2 years on, it's now leaking and shutting down randomly. I have to press the reset button to get it working again.

Customer service is terrible. The plumber, who was misguided enough to recommend this, had real problems getting one of their engineers out.

I'd probably get a Worcester Bosch or Vaillant next time.

If you have bought one, I hope it's working ok for you.

Apparently, they used to be a very good brand but not these days.
  • hi we went for a worcester boiler in the end, my colleague at works hasnt got a good word to say about Ferroli, their customer service is terrible, services are booked and no body would turn up.

Before the boiler broke down, i thought they was a great company.. but dont think im too sure now.

Thanks again for all your help!!
