  • Hi to you all,

Had my first Christmas Fair yesterday and it went good for me. Now I can say I feel like a crafter lol :D

I've sold 3 pints of socks (had 15 with me)
2 cups of coffee (had 4)
4 snowman soups in a mug (all I had)
5 cones with snowballs (all I had)
1 cone with Heroes sweets (had 2)
    1 Nappy pram
    2 Big Towel/pamper cakes (just had 2)
    1 mug of sweets

That's all :) came home with 80 euro in hand as I was with my children so spend there 15 euro for their toys popcorn etc. :) I was very tired and exhausted however veeery happy as I was afraid i won't sell anything - the weather was awful and I am already 33 weeks pregnant so it was not so easy for me lol

    Have a Merry Christmas all!!!

I will definately join Valentines topic :) My hubbby's birthday are on 14th lol

  • Newbie to thread here! I just discovered this thread a few days ago and so far have only made it to page 31, but wanted to share what I've already done with you, thanks especially to Flyingpig's sweetie bag tutorial!

The bags contain homemade gift tags (I always make my own from last year's cards but always have loads left over and suddenly thought of giving them as a pressie!), a 'hot drinks for cold days' pack using freebies and Whittards hot choc I got when mystery shopping, homemade chocolate truffles and chocolate-covered marzipan, and homemade mince pies.

I used my 5 year old son's wiggly scissors (from a pack of 2 from Tesco - c. £2, I think?) to cut the edges of the card, with stickers/bow/picture I cut out of the top of a stickers packet to decorate. Very, very pleased with the results.

The other two bits at the top are a jar of homemade mincemeat and a mini homemade Christmas pudding. Very pleased with how they look too! :-)
I'm broke, not poor. Poor sounds permanent, broke can be fixed. (Thoroughly Modern Millie)
