    Hi,

Have been reading this thread with great interest - well done everyone. You are all so clever and so helpful.

Just wanted to say that I usually reside on the Sock Monkey and Sewing Room threads.
If anyone wants links to SM tutorials just shout, or go over to the SM thread.

If you wanted to use them for snowman soup then just cut the cone down to make it smaller and the right size for the amount of 'soup' you want to put in :D

They look good layered with retro sweets - white mice / flying saucers / strawberry laces etc
Or layered in Halloween / Christmas / Easter colours

Or buttons with waxed thread to make necklaces
    :)

Ladsmadd - this is what I use when rounding corners of cards, so would also work if you are doing sweet bag toppers. It is really easy to use as well. If you don't want to buy online, then hobbycraft or a craft or art should would sell them.

thank you so much for pointing me in the right place,

Christmas tree marshmallows - they have snowman ones too - thought they would look good in cello bags for xmas treats!

not sure if this helps you but last christmas i found a mixed bag of tree and snowman in pound shop or wilkinsons.Sorry can not remember size but i put 2 in each snowman soup and made 60 with some lefted over using 3 bags.

Sainsburys are doing Snowmen Marshmallows at the moment they are £1.50 per bag, so quite pricey. I dont know how many there are in a bag but you would only need to put 2 in for snowman soup. They are on the isle with the Christmas sweeties and are in cello bags.

Fantastic makes piglet, I love your sock monkey. I would love to make one, I did buy some socks but they sat there for that long unmade and now the weather has turned cold I'm wearing them!!! Never mind at least they were put to good use :)
